About me

I am a recent PhD graduate from the University of California, Irvine.

My main research interests are Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Monetary Economics, and International Macro. In particular, I have focused my research on DSGE models and their estimation using Bayesian methods and applied time series econometrics.

In my recent work, I consider a DSGE model with housing and a banking sector and analyze the effects of deviating from the assumption of Rational Expectations by instead introducing a behavioral element and allowing economic agents to learn about their economic environment using past information.
